Sheri Baby Says It’s Time
… to celebrate your achievements along the way, not just at the final, final, way final stage/outcome, whenever/whatever that means to you.
When I completed my book, Affirmations with Attitude! Sassy Power Starters to Ignite Your Day, I was relieved and excited but all I could think about were the things I needed to do to get them babies out to the public and sold. I didn’t think to take a breath & celebrate this milestone I had worked hard to achieve: completion of my book!!! It wasn’t until a friend asked how I was going to celebrate that achievement, that I thought, ‘Oh yeah, I guess this is a good reason to celebrate.’ The celebration doesn’t have to be extravagant unless you want it to be. For me, it’s really a PAUSE and a breath and a head nod while in deep thought of what I am feeling at having accomplished that thing + a special dinner or treat. It’s really LIVING in the PRESENT and not taking myself and my accomplishments for granted. Yeah, Baby! Go for Positive! Do you celebrate your milestones? How?
